MLJ History for the Green
Jul. 31st, 2020 02:41 pmThe first time she ended up in the alternate Equestria was right before she was gonna take that job from Rarity's friend. It had confused her and she had tried to get a train back to Manehatten, but she stopped once it was clear that this wasn't her Equestria. At first she struggled with finding a job but luckily a version of Rarity gave her a job as an assistant.
During her first Hearts & Hooves day in this Equestria, she and another mare named Kreutzer became a victim of special love arrows. They fell in love and spent the night making each other wedding dresses. They almost got married the next day but they were stopped before it was too late. They resolved to be friends for a time, though this made things awkward between them for months until they got together at the Gala.
Then more good luck happened to her when she was given a boutique of her own in the newly built Night Market due to the native Rarity disappearing. Clover, a living doll that Kreutzer created for her, became her full-time assistant.
The fourth wall event exposed her to humans for the first time including Kreutzer's true appearance. Not too long after, she received a letter from her native parents, which prompted her to come out and reveal her relationship with Kreutzer. The next letter a month later forced her to realize that she'll never gain the support of her parents even if they are just her native parents and not the ones from back home.
The pokemon event also made her realize she needed to be stronger after having spent that time hiding from trainers in fear as a Gardevoir. A trip down the Canterlot basement dungeon did the trick as that was where she gained the power of Precures and become Cure Spring after some monsters attacked Kreutzer and Dante.
During the closing ceremony at the Equestria Games, she witnessed Kreutzer being murdered by Calice, an event which traumatized her greatly and still haunts her, even after Kreutzer had reappeared.
Nightmare Night proved to be a big challenge for her. Not only because of the Nightmare Night load, also when she had switched bodies with a pegasus stallion named Joshua. She managed to make it through fine, though Kreutzer's disappearance made this bittersweet.
When some windigoes showed up, she fell under it's influence and transformed into a dark Cure called Dark Cure Spring. She had attacked and harmed other ponies while in that form, but she was able to be purified. This would haunt her until a month later where she was trapped in a nightmare about the dark Cure and Kreutzer.
Just before Tirek showed up in this Equestria to attack the native Princesses, she was taken away back to her own Equestria.
Sometime later after she returned, various things happened. Another Gala happened, she actually banned ponies associated with Quarterhorse Quarterly (a tabiod newspaper that had an anti-offworlder bias) from her shop and then went home for a bit before being called back to save this Equestria from Calice.
She didn't get to do much, but she did see Calice be stopped and purified back into Princess Twilight. She went back home once more after that, but with the ability to freely move between worlds.

AU History for The Green
Jul. 25th, 2020 06:36 pmPre-Canon History
Coco was originally an orphan in Manehattan, having been left on the orphanage's doorstep as a baby. She was loved and was very happy. However, that changed one day when a couple from Seaddle appeared and adopted her. Coco was very happy to get adopted even if it meant leaving her friends in the orphanage behind. But unfortunately for her, things would not go so happy for her. Her adopted parents owned a hat shop and at first were very loving, even if they held rather high expectations for her. To continue in the family business, marry a good husband and have healthy children.
Thus she was put under a lot of pressure.
At first Coco didn't mind being destined to work in hat making, but as she grew up, she realized that she wanted to do more than just that. She wanted to make dresses and high fashion that everypony would want to wear. It was this realization that she earned her cutie mark. When her parents congratulated her for getting her cutie mark, Coco hid the truth about what her cutie mark really meant from them for quite a while. She didn't want to disappoint them.
That fear of disappointing them got worse during high school where she discovered she was attracted to mares. Sure her parents weren't against the idea of two mares or two stallions loving each other, they still expected her to have a husband and family. Which Coco was against as she didn't want children at all.
When she became an adult and her parents try to have her take over, she finally had enough and put her hoof down. This angered her parents and after a heated argument later, things become strained between them. Heartbroken but determined to prove her parents wrong and earn back their approval, she moved to Manehatten in hopes of starting a career in fashion.
It was then that she met Suri. Suri convinced her that by becoming her assistant, she would eventually be able to work her way up to being up to her level. She worked for Suri for about three years before Rarity showed up.
It pretty much goes much like canon after that, and shortly after she quit being Suri's assistant, she ends up in MLJ.
She went from a scared mare in distress to a strong Pretty Cure mare that could do more than just make clothes all day, and even found love with another mare for a while.
Canon History
It's been mentioned by Suri that Coco had almost gotten her disqualified at one point because she took too long with Suri's dresses. Coco said she was just trying to make sure Suri would win.
During the latest Fashion week, Suri assigned her to use some fabric she stole from Rarity and copy off Rarity's designs as much as possible. While she succeeded to do so, she felt guilty the whole way despite at that point believing that it's everypony for themselves in Manehatten.
When Rarity ran off to find her friends, Suri made her go with her lie that Rarity lost and that Prim is furious with her. Once Coco saw how generous and kind she is to her friends and how they acted generous in return, it made her realize that Suri was wrong and that there was more opportunities for her out there.
She quit being Suri's assistant and took Rarity's prize trophy to her (as well as give her some rainbow thread as thanks). In return, Rarity got her a new job working for a friend of hers to make costumes for their next project.
After returning home from MLJ the first time around
When she was taken back to her world, her memories of MLJ remained. This caused problems as she didn't want to return without Kreutzer by her side. Because of this, she messes up the job with Rarity's friend and loses the job. She attempted to find more jobs, but she was not successful. It didn't help that she wanted to leave Manehatten for good. When it became clear that she was going to become homeless again, she leaves the city (though not without sending a letter to her parents telling them that she doesn't need them or their support first).
First she traveled to Fillydephia. While not as bad as Manehatten, she wasn't comfortable with the new city. She wasn't quite able to make any friends. After having no success there, she traveled to Baltimare. Again, not much success there and no new friends.
Finally she arrived in Appleloosa. She liked this town much better though it took some adjustment. She got a job at the hat store there until she could save enough money to set up a boutique of her own again. However not too long after, the Tirek from this Equestria showed up.
Tirek had escaped and gotten stronger to the point where he could drain magic from not only unicorns but from pegasi and earth ponies. She tried to help defend the town, but she got herself zapped by Tirek, losing both her earth pony magic and cutie mark. Thankfully the mane six defeated Tirek and with Applejack's and Pinkie Pie's rainbow magic, Coco was restored to normal.
Post-MLJ History
Most of season five happened in the background though Made in Manehatten happened differently as Coco had moved out of Manehatten, so Rarity and Applejack had to help a different pony with their problem instead.
However, at the end of season five is where the AU diverged from canon for good. Starlight Glimmer was forced to pay for her crimes instead of being fully forgiven, and sent to Tartarus. Princess Flurry Heart was still born but nothing bad happened.
Coco eventually saved up to open her own shop in Ponyville, just like back in the other Equestria. She settled in for five years, taking in the quiet life even as Princess Twilight became ruler of Equestria.
